Gardening was the Topic of the Day

The Brigham City Library started a three part series on Gardening last night, April 12, 2007, at 7 p.m. Over fifty individuals spent a entertaining and educational evening listening to Barney Barrett from Willard Bay Gardens. Perennials: Color for All Seasons was the topic of this discussion. We learned about how to bring color and flowers into our gardens for the whole season from early spring to fall with the use of perriniels.

We have two additional sessions:

Thursday, April 19th, 7 p.m., Nedra Secrist, Secrist Gardens, will be teaching a class on perennials for your garden.

Thursday, April 26th, 7 p.m., Glen from Alpine Gardens will be teaching a class on tolerant trees and scrubs. These are trees and scrubs that need little water to florish.

Bring your questions and your notebooks and learn how to garden Utah style. These classes are all on Thursday and are free and open to the public.
