What's mine? Well, to put it simply—I sure hope so. That's not to say that I didn't like Dumbledore, he was a marvelous character, but it was time. If Dumbledore shows up to save Harry in book seven, I'll be very disappointed. Harry's learned a lot over the years; even if he is still a bit daft, and it's time he and his friends conquer their challenges without Dumbledore stepping in. There's still a lot of help out there for them, particularly from the Order, but I want to see Harry and his fellow students take the leading role in conquering Voldemort on their own. If Dumbledore does show up I hope he takes a back row seat in the final battles of the Harry Potter series.

Of course, Dumbledore is dead. However, let us not forget this is the magical world. He could show up in all sorts of ways. I don't think that J. K. Rowling will deny Harry the chance to off He who should not be named. I've always felt that Dumbledore knows more about Harry and his parents, maybe we will here from his ghost something that will give Harry comfort. If not then Harry will lack the guidance that he may need as his life changes yet again at graduation, I think Dumbledore, in whatever form, will still be Harry's mentor.
