YOU ARE INVITED NEXT WEEK TO: A Community of Knitters: A Program to Celebrate Knitting

Snow is falling. The morning air is bitter cold.. This is the time we think of being in front of a fire and knitting a new scarf for our winter coat. Many of the women and men (yes, men too!) have a hobby of knitting. Knitting has become a community thing, as knitters get together every week or month to talk and knit at a coffee shop with a big hot chocalate before them or at a local fiber arts shop. To let these knitters or future knitters meet, the Library will be having "Community of Knitters Get Together" on Thursday, January 10th at 7 p.m. The Library will supply a warm place to meet and cold water. Eileen Stone, Needlepoint Joint and Villiage Dry Goods, is our invited expert. She will help anyone with pattern problems or how to start knitting. Eileen, being a professional teacher, will charge anyone getting help $5.00 per session. If you do not need any help just come and bring your latest knitting project. Come join a community of knitters at Brigham City Library, Thursday, January 10th at 7 p.m. This celebration of knitting will continue monthly.
