Margaret Truman Daniel, the only child of Harry S. Truman and author of dozens of non-fiction and fiction books, passed away January 29th at the age of 83. She had many faithful readers, particularly of her ongoing series of Capital Crimes mysteries which all started with the title "Murder..."
She received some operatic vocal training and debuted in a radio broadcast in 1947. It was noted that she was extremely attractive on stage but could not sing very well.
Her last novel was Murder on K Street published in 2007. Our library currently has 35 books and or audio books by Margaret.
