Sundays At Tiffany's

This book has one weird concept - a child who had an adult male as her imaginary friend. How many children do you know with adults as their imaginary friend? Well, maybe.... and, apparently, he's the imaginary friend of many other children. He just happens to live in an apartment close enough to run into one of these children when they are grown up and he becomes her "friend" again. It seems he eats, shaves, is romantically inclined and people can see him now, but he doesn't get hurt or age. It's a quick read but I only finished it to see how in the world the writers were going to make it work (Gabrielle Charbonnet & James Patterson). It felt to me that they wrote the book in 2 hours and didn't really bother to think it through. James Patterson may be a great suspense writer but his attempt at lighter novels haven't appealed to me.
