How do I get my books?

The Non-fiction section is gone!

How do I get my books?

Our library is undergoing a seismic upgrade for the next 6-9 months and we've had to move all the books from the upstairs, but NO WORRIES! The books are still available to you, but you may have to wait a day to pick them up.

You can request any book by logging into your online account and putting it on hold for yourself. If you don't have a password for your online account you can get one at the circulation desk. With a password you can put the book on hold at home or from any library computer terminal (including our catalog machines).

Currently staff will retrieve non-fiction books Monday - Friday between 3 - 6 p.m. Be sure your request gets in before 2:30 p.m. if you want to pick it up the same evening.

Books requested before 2:30 p.m. may be picked up by patrons after 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday and after 5 p.m. on Fridays. There will not be any book retrievals on Saturdays.

Library staff do not call patrons on book retrievals, unless we cannot find the item. If you request a book you can come in to get it the next day, or after 6 p.m. the same day if the request was placed before 2:30 p.m.

Books requested after 2:30 p.m. on Fridays or any request on a Saturday will not be available for pick-up until 6 p.m. the following Monday.

As with all holds/book requests these books will only be held for pick-up for 3 days. After that time the book will be returned to the collection and available for other patrons to request and check out.
