Moving the Library

It's been a tough day. We have moving people boxing all the non-fiction books and hauling them, one set of numbers at a time, over to the Dance Academy Building, but once we get them over there, the librarians are having to make sure they get in the right number order. We've had to shove box after box full of books into long lines back and forth across the Academy floor. No one dusted before we got there so dust is flying about as we push the boxes across the floor and into place. After this second day of moving, we finally got a couple of the movers trained so they know how the books have to be arranged so we can find them later. The first day they unloaded the van with different numbers all over the place, 600's here, 900's there, reference another place; it was almost impossible to keep up. They started with the 900's and are up to the 300's now so we should be done by tomorrow.

To get a non-fiction book now, you will have to request the title at the circulation desk. We will make a run over to the Academy once a day to look for your books. It's cold and dark over there and we'll have to be looking through long lines of books to find the one you want. We'll try and get a photo tomorrow so you can see what it is going to take to find a non-fiction book for you.
