Friends of the Library WILL BE holding their annual book sale this year. Because we weren't removing books from the collection or taking donations during our construction, we expect the book sale to be a bit smaller this year and so our sale time will be shortened. The sale will start for everyone on September 7th and run through Peach Days, September 11th, during library hours. We will have the bag sale on Saturday as that is always a big success with people attending the festivities in the courtyard.
We would still like to encourage membership in our Friends organization even though we won't be having the special presale for Friends members only. Officers of the Friends organization are planning a Friends Only program in October where members will be entertained and be able to browse a special collection of sale books held aside just for them. These will the newest and the nicest books we are able to find from our donated and weeded books.
Put the dates on your calendar and come to the book sale!
