Book Sale a Success

Peach Days Book Sale

Thanks to everyone who helped make our annual book sale a success. Even though we had a smaller sale this year, we were able to make $1,932. This money will go towards the purchase of more books or items needed by the library that the library budget cannot stretch to buy. The few books that were left from the sale were donated to the organization Reading Tree who have two missions: First, to keep books from contributing to the saturation of our nation's landfills. Second, to collect books from families who no longer want them, and deliver them to children, families, schools and libraries that desperately need them.
