It was a Book Fiesta Monday, April 30th at the Brigham City Library! 27 children and 21 adults attended "El Dia de los Ninos / El Dia de los Libros" (Children's Day/ Book Day) sponsored by the Literacy Program. Children created their own unique and special bookmarks to take home with them. Everyone then settled into story time and listened to Miss Lynda read

Tomas and the Library Lady by Pat Mora, creator of Children's Day/Book Day.
Everyone was then entertained with a puppet show performed by the Fine Arts Center's own Susan Neidert and her assistant Amber. Everyone was delighted by the characters in the story "Coyote and the Rabbit."
Books by Pat Mora were donated by the Literacy Program to the Library for checkout and there was a drawing to win
Tomas and the Library Lady. And since everyone is a winner, each child was presented with a special El Dia de los Ninos / El Dia de los Libros bookmark to remind them of this special day!
