Free Entertainment for Agatha Christie Fans

I hope that all of you Agatha Christie fans heard about the six books Masterpiece Mystery! was turning into movies. They just finished airing them last Sunday. The six done this time were: Cat Among the Pigeons (Hercule Poirot), Mrs. McGinty's Dead (Hercule Poirot), A Pocket Full of Rye (Miss Marple), Murder is Easy (Miss Marple), They Do it With Mirrors (Miss Marple), and Why Didn't They Ask Evans? (Miss Marple).

If you missed them there's still a chance to see them online, at least the Miss Marple series. Until 9 August 2009 the Miss Marple series will be available at the Masterpiece Mystery! website. So why not stay in tonight, pop some popcorn and watch an online movie!

There you'll also find a small collection of Christie's family photos, an interview with Julia McKenzie (Miss Marple in the current series), and interviews with three other mysteries authors (Sue Grafton, Faye Kellerman, and Tess Gerritsen). In these interview these three bestselling authors each discussed Agatha Christie, characters, the mystery genre, and writing. Read what they said here.

And if you miss the movies, there's always the books. A lot of people say that the book is always better than the movie. Why not try them both out and see what you think - book or movie or ______?
