The Library is in the process of ordering copies of the new

Harry Potter book and copies of the audiobook. After signing my life away saying I would not let anyone look at the books except to catalog them until midnight on July 21st....we will be getting our copies from our wholesaler earlier to prepare them for circulation on the next day, a
Saturday morning. You will be able to put youself on hold for the books or the audio books, a month before the release date.

We will be having a drawing for three of the new books for library card holders. We will let you know if you are a winner before release date of new book and you can pick up you prize at circulation the Saturday after release, July 22nd.
I can't wait to read my copy that I will be buying and find out who survives...and I do hope it is Harry.

The adult edition makes me want to grab the locket and see what's inside. I'm glad that's the one I've ordered. I like all three covers.
I'm sure I would be tarred and feathered if I put my name, so I won't, but I think Harry Potter is highly overrated. Sure, he's a pretty good read, but there are so many better books out there. Don't limit yourself to one orphan in a school situation. There are plenty more available: "Surviving the Applegates", "Lost Magic", "His Dark Materials" series by Pullman, "Abhorsen" series by Garth Nix, just to name a few.
