J.K. Rowling To Give a Moonlight Reading of Harry Potter

To hear J.K. Rowling read from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows today - go to Scholastic's Harry Potter Website by 6:50 p.m. EST. This would put it at 4:50 for us, but I've just been on and it doesn't seem to be connecting to anything yet. If you are interested you may want to check with it later to see if the time was just posted incorrectly.

The Library is in the process of ordering copies of the new Harry Potter book and copies of the audiobook. After signing my life away saying I would not let anyone look at the books except to catalog them until midnight on July 21st....we will be getting our copies from our wholesaler earlier to prepare them for circulation on the next day, a Saturday morning. You will be able to put youself on hold for the books or the audio books, a month before the release date.

We will be having a drawing for three of the new books for library card holders. We will let you know if you are a winner before release date of new book and you can pick up you prize at circulation the Saturday after release, July 22nd.

I can't wait to read my copy that I will be buying and find out who survives...and I do hope it is Harry.
