
Nebula award winners announced!
The winners of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America's Nebula Awards were honored over the weekend in New York, with Jack McDevitt winning in the novel category for Seeker, which was originally published in November 2005 by Ace.James Patrick Kelly's Burn was the winner in the novella category, while the novelette winner was Peter S. Beagle for "Two Hearts." Elizabeth Hand won for her short story "Echo" and Howl's Moving Castle, by Hayao Miyazaki, Cindy Davis Hewitt and Donald H. Hewitt, was the winning script.In addition to the category winners, the SFWA also honored Justine Larbalestier, author of Magic or Madness, with the Andrew Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy. James Gunn and D.G. Compton were also recognized as the Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master and Author Emeritus, respectively, while Brooke and Julia West were honored for service to SFWA.Check out the official site for full details!
