Puzzling Reads

Yes, my brain is really focused on games right now, or at least books about games. It was just last Saturday that I also did a post about games, but this time I want to let you know about some of the library's fiction. There's a new book that has just recently come out called The Sudoku Murder by Shelley Freydont. I haven't read it yet, but from the reviews I've read it sounds good. We also have a a few series about crossword puzzles. The books in these series (both by Parnell Hall) have titles like Death on the Diagonal, Stalking the Puzzle Lady, Another Word for Murder, and You Have the Right to Remain Puzzled. Then there's also a series about solving puzzles that are made up of codes. This series starts with The Givenchy Code by Julie Kenner. If you like puzzles and are looking for something new to read this summer give one of these a try. This month we also have a display at the circulation desk which is spotlighting first books in series. Come in a take a look, see if you can find a new series to read this summer.
