Inspector Lynley is back!

I'm a great fan of Elizabeth George and was disappointed when she sent Inspector Lynley packing in her book "What came before he shot her".
I thought she'd tired of the series and had found a good way to end it. I was elated to find Inspector Lynley and Barbara Havers back in this novel. I've also enjoyed the series on PBS though they've taken some liberties with the story line, plus making Barbara nicer looking than I imagine her in the book.

If you haven't read the series, it would be a great one to start this summer. There are about 11 books in this series and they would last you a long time. They make you think and they aren't little lighthearted mysteries but they are hard to put down. If you didn't want to read the whole series, I think you could start with this one as the mystery stands on its own and the characters seem to be taking a fresh start.
