Our library family.

As many of you come in the door of our library, choosing your books, visiting with the staff, little do you know that you are becoming part of our library family. Many of you visit on a daily or weekly basis and forge a bond with us. When patrons move away or don't come to the library anymore, we wonder what has happened to them. It's probably the last thing on your mind to notify the library that you're moving away. Recently a frequent library patron, Barbara Spiekerman, passed away. We noticed, we saw her obituary in the paper and we felt sad. Barbara's favorite past time was reading and she requested that any donations made in her memory - be made to the library. What a lovely way to make a difference in other people's lives, books that will keep on giving to people over and over again.

So you might think you come to the library and you aren't noticed and you aren't appreciated, but that isn't true. We know you are here, we are glad you came to visit and we hope you feel at home here. Your lives entwine with us while you are here and we miss you when haven't been here for awhile.
Susan
