Tonight the library will be holding the first writing group meeting of the new year. We've had a lot of interested people sign-up for e-mail reminders (almost 60), but many of those people have not yet been able to work the time into their schedules. Life can get so hectic!
With the start of the new year you may have reevalutated you schedule. Maybe you've decided you want to dedicate more time to your writing this year. Whatever you're thinking, the new year is a great time to start attending the writing group.
We currently have a pretty steady group of about 10 dedicated writers, but we'll always make room for one more.
Come and join us tonight! We're hoping the snow doesn't keep everyone away. Or if you're more of a fair weather friend, we'll be meeting again on the 27th of January for a book discussion on Stephen King's On Writing. (Keeping fingers crossed for better weather.) If you didn't get a chance to read the book, don't let that keep you away. The discussion is still worth attending.
Even if you find you still just can't make it to the writing group, be sure to find time in your schedule to do the writing you want to do. Sometime. Somewhere. Just keep writing.
Elizabeth
