Second death of Goodluck Tinubu

I really enjoyed this book because I felt right at home with the country and the characters. The plot is set all around the same area of Bostwana as the No. #1 Ladies Detective Agency except we see a little rougher side of the country having to do with politics and drugs. The main character, Kubu Bengu, is a very likable black man of "traditional" stature (as Precious Ramotswe would say). He thinks a lot about meals and getting his work done around them. This is the second book in this series by the writing team of Michael Sears and Stanley Trollip writing as Michael Stanley, but the first to get serious attention. The mystery was involved and I questioned "who done it" right up until the mystery was solved. All the characters seem like someone you might meet in real life and want to know better. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and hope they can keep up the style of writing. There are maps, a list of characters, pronunciations, and a glossary to help you with all the African names and places.
